NEURO-AFFIRMING AUTISM MENTORING
Strength-Based Support for Autistic Adults
Service Overview
Mekapath’s Neuro-Affirming Autism Mentoring is designed for Autistic adults who want support that respects identity, autonomy, and lived experience. Unlike traditional deficit-based approaches, this service focuses on empowering participants to understand their strengths, manage challenges, and build confidence in everyday life.
We recognise that every Autistic person has unique sensory needs, communication styles, processing differences, and life goals. Our mentoring adapts to each individual rather than forcing participants to fit into rigid systems.

We honour the diverse communities, such as the LGBTQ community, that we are a part of, and we celebrate the extraordinary diversity of people that each represent.
We acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands, paying respect to Elders past and present, and recognise Aboriginal people as the original custodians of this land.
Aboriginal peoples of the Kulin Nations are the Traditional Custodians of the lands now named City of Greater Dandenong. We live, work, and contribute to the municipality, walking in the footsteps of the Bunurong/Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Peoples.
